[li] "PRANKSTER" what's better than a good prank? Nothing, that's what. No one is safe from the practical jokes of Mr. James S. Potter, and he enjoys it that way
[/li][li] "CHARMING" he knows how to sweet-talk people, and he's not afraid to use it. He has a way with words that makes flirting and just generally getting out of trouble easy and, for the most, part, painless. Though one time he had to ramble on for a while about the "lovely shade" of his ancient professor's robes after she caught him setting a trap for his favorite Slytherin mate, which hurt his head a bit.

There was nothing too unusual about the Potter household ... I mean, once you got past the whole "Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived and Defeated the Dark Lord and Is the Hero of the Universe, etc" stigma attached to it. Harry and Ginny were married not long after the war ended, and for a year or two, things were peaceful.
And then they decided to bring James into the world, kicking and screaming, and everything was once again chaotic. His magic kicked in at a young age, as James decided he didn't really like the idea of a crib, preferring to crawl around and bump into walls, usually head-first. It's a wonder he didn't sustain brain damage — though some would argue that he's a few crayons short of the set regardless. He also liked to "play" with the family owl by grabbing it by the talon and insisting on being picked up. It never happened, much to his dismay.
Other than that, he had a normal childhood. He got into more trouble than one could imagine. When Albus was born, he tried tossing his baby brother into the bin, telling his mum that one child was more than enough for the family. But eventually, James grew, went to Hogwarts and continued the legend of James Potter and Sirius Black — his namesakes — though with his own twist.
