The Alves family is a respected and well off family on the Mediterranean cost of Portugal. All their children go to Hogwarts. Paulo was a surprise and the reason that Diogo and Caterina got married but they have been happy even since. Paulo was always the type to shoot for the stars in things he loved, that being, sports. He was never much into his studies and always popular with the ladies. After school he signed on with Portugal’s quidditch team, but following an incident that was quashed by his lawyers, he was kicked off the team. Rumor has it he slept with the coach’s daughter.
All Paulo knew how to do well was fly, and so when Madame Hooch finally retired, he put himself up for the position. He doesn’t really like teaching, but he loves being the kind of the school again and he can’t wait to get involved with the students, and not in the most professional way. Paulo feels this job is beneath him but this might be the closest to real quidditch he’ll ever get.
