[li] "INTELLIGENT " He's not one of those blokes who is stuck up about his intelligence. Tobias is one of those students who barely has to open a book and can still make good marks in a subject. He prefers to read for leisure rather than for a particular subject. Tobias also likes learning random fun facts and he's read most of the classics in literature. Both Wizarding and Muggle. He's an avid fan of Hemingway.
[/li][li] "SARCASTIC " Tobias doesn't go out of his way to make sarcastic comments and that smirk that's plastered on his face. He just doesn't get why some people are so dumb-witted and feels the need to make a wise ass remark just to set them straight.
[/li][li] "CARING " Although, many may not know this. Tobias is very caring and compassionate. He does care for more people than just himself, but it takes him a little while to be open about his feelings.
[/li][li] "ROMANTIC " Tobias Kipplinger? A hopeless romantic. Que the "you've got to be kidding me" but underneath all that brooding male bravedo is a bloke who just wants to be loved and accepted. He has a tendency to wear his heart on his sleeve when around a girl that he really fancies her.
[/li][li] "STUBBORN" Tobias has for the most part relied upon himself. He's independent and responsible and he has his wits about him. Tobias also tends to be street smart as well as book smart. That being said, he is quite stubborn because he doesn't like getting help from anyone.

«history» On the twenty-third of September Tobias was born to Alistair and Gemma Reidlmeyer. The son of a pureblood wizard and a muggle-born witch making the boy a half-blood. He grew up in the wizarding world, but was also exposed to his mum's side of the family and from a young age had a fascination with muggle gadgets and technology. He grew to respect both ways of life. Muggle and wizarding. Once upon a time He was a mild-mannered and curious lad. Always longing to explore and go outside and have make-believe adventures with some of the kids who lived in his neighborhood.<p>
When Tobias was ten years old though. His life changed. His parents had taking him to muggle London to his Aunt's graduation from muggle University (she had gotten her masters degree in something Jay was too young to remember what). And he had never liked his Aunt Josslyn much. This was possibly due to the fact that Gemma had never been fond of her older sister. On the way back from the grad party that the ten year old had found insufferably boring. The Reidlmeyers never made it back to the hotel they were staying at because their car was hit head on by a drunk driver. Fortunately, Tobias was the only living survivor
It's not something that he likes to remember. Being taken in my his Aunt Josslyn and living under her house for what seemed like an eternity. He started to show signs of magic shortly after and Joss wasn't surprised when his Hogwarts letter came for him at the age of eleven. The wide-eyed boy changed he became more hardened in a way and suddenly wanted to do everything for himself. He would snap if someone tried to help him with something.
He could remember that fight he had with the sorting hat. The sorting hat thinks he knows everything. Eleven year old Tobias had scowled. The two battled it out over what house he belonged in because had the hat had his way. Tobias would have probably been a Gryffindor now. He's very cunning which isn't a bad thing. But somehow Jay convinced the hat that he belonged in Ravenclaw. If only because it was the house his parents were alumni's of and he should be in it. It would make them proud.
