«dislikes» detention, reading, early classes, suck-ups (they make him look bad), being adopted (or mostly knowing he is), keeping secrets, his little sister (he loves her, but he is exceptionally jealous), potions class, this whole anti-muggle movement (knowing that he's really muggleborn changed his views there), being expected to be serious, flying (because he sucks at it), the idea of owning living things (hence his issue with his owl)
«five words»
[li] "SILLY" Jeremy finds it very hard to take anything seriously and often assumes things are a joke. He generally makes a game out of everything. His previous girlfriends have been pretty annoyed with this.
[/li][li] "SMART" Despite the fact that he hates to take things seriously, he's actually a pretty intelligent guy and usually gets decent grades. Obviously, he'd do better if he actually put forth the effort, and as such, he basically skates by.
[/li][li] "INTUITIVE" He's really good with people and can generally figure out what a person wants. It's how he got and kept some of those past girlfriends despite his inability to take their relationships seriously. Jeremy usually can guess what a person needs or wants out of a situation, and he likes happy people, so he usually tries to give it to them.
[/li][li] "FLIRTATIOUS" Again, he likes happy people. Girls are happier when they feel desirable, so he flirts with pretty much every girl he sees. He rarely considers the ramifications of flirting with a girl who isn't interested, who has a boyfriend/girlfriend, or who actually takes him seriously and gets attached.
[/li][li] "COCKY" Not in a really overdone way, though... He knows he's smart and he knows he's attractive. He tends to overlook failure as though it's not an option for him and is frequently genuinely surprised when people don't like him.

«siblings» ----- Cauldwell (sister), 14, hufflepuff
«other important» somewhere out there, Jeremy has biological parents, but they are both muggles and he's never met them.
«birthplace» Pembroke, Wales
«hometown» Godric's Hollow
«family pets» an owl, whose name Jeremy also refuses to acknowledge
«history» Like most children, Jeremy doesn't remember a great deal about his early childhood save from the fact that it was reasonably happy and non-traumatic. Not until he turned eight anyway. He'd always helped with work around the house, and when he turned eight, his parents decided he was old enough to help clean out the attic. They didn't consider the fact that he might actually open up the old boxes to see what was in them. After all, they'd only asked him to help stack things off to one side with the promise that once he did, he could make the attic his bedroom. Curious as he was, Jeremy had only moved about four boxes before he decided to have a peek in one. It was full of old toys, which made him more than a little excited to open up the other boxes. In the second box, though, he only found a bunch of paperwork. He was just about to close it up when he realized that his name was on some of it. He sifted through the papers until he found the one with his name on it and stared at it for several seconds before he understood what it meant. He'd been in primary school for a couple of years now, so he realized that children were sometimes adopted. It just took a minute or two to process the language on the adoption certificate.
Jeremy never told anyone what he had found. He just placed it back in the box and continued stacking up boxes, refusing to peek into another just in case it held equally as unwelcome information. From the moment he found the certificate, though, it changed him. According to what he'd read, both of his biological parents had been muggles, so he spent a great deal of time worrying that he might not be magical. He spent even more time wondering how that would impact his family. Even at a young age, he knew that blood status and magical ability meant a lot. How would it look if his pureblood parents, who presumably had not told their friends that he was adopted, had a child who was incapable of magic? Jeremy also began looking for differences in the way his parents treated him and the way they treated his sister, who looked so much like their mother that she could only be their biological child. When a person looks for evidence of favoritism, it isn't hard to find, and Jeremy saw endless signs that his parents loved his sister better.
He was almost eleven by the time his magical abilities finally manifested. It wasn't a particularly big deal. He'd just managed to cause a jar of cookies to float toward him when he was hungry one afternoon. Nevertheless, the relief felt by everyone in the household was palpable. Jeremy didn't get to enjoy the moment for long, though, as his sister's abilities made themselves known very shortly thereafter.
As hard as he tries, Jeremy has still been unable to get past the jealousy he feels toward his sister. Rationally, he knows that she isn't doing anything to hurt him on purpose. After all, she was just a glimmer in his father's eye when his parents adopted him. Even so, he continues to feel extremely jealous of her and more than a little resentful toward his parents, both the adoptive ones and the biological ones. At school, though, he is usually able to bury those feelings beneath schoolwork, friendships, relationships, and a seemingly endless pile of stupid jokes and pranks.
