«five words»
[li] Cold one of the best words to describe Caleb Dolohov. He's a perfectly polite man outwardly, and he's got charm and humour about him that has the ability to make ladies swoon. But he doesn't feel much of anything, which is a product of his childhood and his mother. Emotion was never very important in the Dolohov household except for where it needed to be faked to get what you wanted. He learned how to act from his mother, the queen of displaying false emotion for personal boon.
[/li][li] Flirt. The typical asshole. Muggle hating, arrogant, and literally a son of a bitch. Despite only being at the tender age of twenty-five, he has women falling all over him, and he doesn’t seem to mind, but he treats them terribly, tugging on their heartstrings and acting like nothing happened. He’s very much an asshole and likes to piss people off.
[/li][li] Hateful. Now Caleb doesn't just dislike certain people, he hates everyone. Or at least he thinks he does, he isn’t quite sure. He wants to be like his father and uphold his good pureblooded name. He wants to bring his family great pride by being a cunning and cold hearted but sometimes he lets a genuine smile leak through his smirks and sometimes he laughs with people below his social standing. He knows though that it is meaningless because he is better then everyone else. He is Caleb Dolohov for heavens sake!
[/li][li] Selfish. Caleb is selfish. No, not with money, despite being very much materialistic. But he is decidedly selfish when it comes to securing life and liberty for himself or anyone he may happen to care deeply enough about. He likes to do the right thing, not because he really cares about others, but rather because of his inherent moral integrity. Doing the right thing, however, is entirely subject to sacrifice in favour of the aforementioned selfishness. Mostly, he prefers not to get involved in things that do not concern him unless a choice one way or the other is absolutely critical and/or unavoidable.
[/li][li] Pessimist. He has somewhat of a pessimistic view of mankind, having experienced first-hand what people are capable of. Because his own parents' relationship began and ended in falsehood and deceit, he has serious difficulty trusting people, let alone bonding with them. However, when he finally does open up to someone, he is determined to be as honest and true to them as possible, almost as though he wants to prove that genuine relationships are not merely the stuff of imagination. Quiet and intensely private, he often plays the role of the observer, but rarely the observed.

«history» A tale as old as time itself, or so it seems. Parents seem to have this knack for forcing things into ones head. One being how it was they met and how you came to be. Some dramatic story is it not? So where to begin...where to begin. I suppose the best place to begin this story is from the beginning so here it goes.
Childhood sweethearts that were as close as any two people could be. They were constantly with the other and it was at a very young age that their parents assumed they were no doubt going to get married. Arranged marriages are so over rated, though i guess not everyone feels that way. Fighting against their parents wishes they tried to move on to find other people. Yes it's evident that rebellion is in every person despite what your parents tell you just go talk to grandma and grandpa they will more than willingly set the picture straight. So after what was two years of utter failure to move on and find others they realized they were destined to be together. How on earth it is you know just who that one person is truly stumps me. Though I guess that's not part of the whole 'birds and the bees talk' now is it.
Soon after they were married they had their first child. No not me. My older brother, Trent. He was their good boy. Innocent and sweet never a problem. He was an Gryffindor student, bookworm from the get go and well it was two years later i came along to ruin this perfect family. My father had finally gotten the son he had always wanted, the one who was just like him. I was supposedly a 'royal pain in the ass'. That's what my mother tells me, but what does Violet know? Or Mrs. Dolohov to all you other people. I mean if I was after all royalty I wouldn't be stuck living the life of some average nobody trying to work to someone better. Just because I would indeed be better.
So life for this 'perfect' family was anything but. Fights were always arising between my brother and I. From who was in the bathroom first and how long it should take one to get ready to go out, to who had the remote for the television and what to eat for supper. The hustle and bustle the family had loved for two years with a single child had been flipped upside down with one additional child, a son, me. Now I'm not trying to take to much pride in this but, all the same I was indeed proud that at least I was getting some sort of attention from my family. I evidently had to work for the attention but i was given it all the same. That's all that mattered right?
So Schooling started. I wasn't the brightest crayon in the box in fact I'd have to say i was some grungy blue or green color. Though you can ask my teachers I was always trying to do the best that i could always giving a hundred and ten percent to everything I did. Sometimes it was good enough and other times...well i suppose i could have tried a little harder. Just don't tell my parents that.
So the years passed right? Well three to be exact and my mother and father decided it was time to sit us down and have a 'talk' this talk resulted in the knowledge that my mother was soon to have another child, a daughter. A hell of a humorous girl and someone i could relate to on so many levels. Trent and I made it our job to annoy our sister to no end. We were after all boys and it's what we do best. Yet when it came to others picking on her we wouldn't allow such things. Those that did pick on her often found themselves introduced to the 'swirly' in the bathroom stall. Those were indeed great days. Great days I tell you. We were a dynamic duo that couldn't be stopped. Girls loved us and guys wanted to be us. Sad for them was it not?
A family of three was an average size for a family though when two more years passed we were all brought to have 'the talk'. By this time it was evident what the reason was as my sister and i simply blurted out the news before our parents could inform us. Yes once more she was with child but not just one mind you two and twins were well lets just say the twins were anything but calm and collecting when they were older. Their habit of causing my mother and father to call them one name or the other resulted in my favourite past time. I often times talked them into these schemes of even switching classes at school if possible. It was the two of them that despite how annoying they were become my little tolls of entertainment.
It was in seventh year I finally noticed a girl. Her name was ____ Hartly. She was everything that I had wanted and she was something I was determined to get. A Slytherin student like myself we didn't think we'd ever find someone that understood us like we did each other. Love is a funny thing is it not? We were childhood friends and our mothers use to pick on us and say wed end up married one day, but we didn't believe them. Our fathers use to laugh and nod their heads in agreement. As time passed and we got older we came to realize just how right our parents were. We denied the attraction that was to evidently noticeable to everyone else hoping we could find our own matches without the help from our parents. Have you ever been so caught up in someone that when you wern't together or able to talk at least once a day it was like an eternity without them? That was exactly how our relationship was and our parents knew it. Before I even knew it, I married her off and claimed her as my own.
Things had changed though...I had changed. Becoming a professor at Hogwarts, I became more cocky and people had finally noticed me. Other women had noticed me and I could not deny the want for them. Marriage was simply not cut out for me, so I strayed countless of times. On one occasion, I had slept with my brother's girlfriend, behind both of our partner's backs. Although, that wasn't the only thing that changed. I became violent with my wife, not intentionally, everything had happened so suddenly and before I had realized I was beating her when all she did was ask a simple question. I still question how my life had turned out like this...
