[li] "Neutral" When it comes to issues such as pureblood mania or dark magic, she remains neutral, neither liking nor disliking muggleborns and not exactly hating dark magic.
[/li][li] "Neat" Ebony insists on working in a clean, organised and neat environment whilst working in the school. Therefore her dungeon room is quite clean and sanitised.
[/li][li] "Healthy" Despite eating high amounts of food she always exercises a lot during the day; being worried about getting ill. She has a minor cleanliness / healthiness complex.
[/li][li] "Biased" In her lessons, she tends to be slightly biased as to who she gives points to. She gives most points to Hufflepuff and quite a few to Slytherin, giving the least to Ravenclaw.
[/li][li] "Grumpy" It's not an unusual thing to see her being grumpy towards her students. At times, she can be slgihtly cheerful, helpful and generous but this is rare. Alongside this she is quite self-conscious about her appearance.

«history» Ebony was born in the busy city of Seoul in South Korea as Nayoung Ryu but she and her parents moved back to England, where her mother was born due to the fact that there wasn't much business for wizards there. She has always been referred to as 'Ebony' by everyone – except from her parents when they're angry at her. Anyway, she had a pretty normal childhood when she was young. In the day time her father would take her to his store which helped her develop an interest in potions from a young age. Her mother was very busy with work so she didn't see her much meaning that she was always closer to her dad. When she was 11, she received her letter from Hogwarts which she was already expecting as she was a pureblood and knew about the wizarding school from both her mother and father telling her stories about it.
As all other children did, she went to Diagon Alley and brought all of her possessions that she would need for her first year; ofcourse going to get her wand last. She had to try quite a few wands before she came across her smooth willow wand which had a threstal hair core and was 13 inches. At first she had a hard time wielding it; thus making lessons difficult for a small period of time. At the sorting ceremony, the hat contemplated putting her in Slytherin due to the fact that she was quite cunning and ambitious in regards to her abilities – something that was unusual for the almost all hufflepuff family. Thankfully she was put in Hufflepuff though.
She began her first year after the war had ended.
In her first year she an obedient, smart student who paid attention in class. She hated it when people looked down on her for being a hufflepuff, especially the Ravenclaws who sometimes made fun of her. Nevertheless, she did have a few friends – two slytherins and one hufflepuff. In her second year she kept in the same friendship group and found that she wasn't good at transfiguration but was average at charms.
As she continued to attend Hogwarts she progressed quite alot; developing a greater interest in potions. For elective classes, she took Ancient Runes, Care of Magical Creatures, Divination and one or two extra-curricular classes (Music and Ghoul Studies). Around her sixth year she began dating Seth Nam and they broken up and made up quite a few times. After she finished school she decided to work in her fathers potion shop, selling ingredients and potions that she had produced. When she was around 20 she applied for the position of potions teacher at Hogwarts, thinking that she was probably old enough to work there by now with her intelligence and experience. This is her first year at Hogwarts as a professor and so far she enjoys working there.
