Ebony was happy now that someone had finally agreed to go on the adventure to the Forbidden Forest with her. A pleasant smile overtook her face as one word passed through her mind: victory. She had to agree that she definitely was one of the less innocent and more harmful Hufflepuffs - hey, the sorting hat had suggested putting her in Slytherin for a reason. Upon seeing Jess tying her hair back she let a small bubble of laughter make its way up her throat and through her mouth. She herself had already tied her hair up prior to coming outside; as to why she had done it she had no idea especially with the cold weather that had been drifting around lately. Finally, Ebony stood up from her position on the floor despite being rather comfy where she was before. She whipped out her pen and pad once again and started furiously scribbling down on it. It was important for her to write down where the ingredients were or might be just in case she forgot. After finishing righting it down her hand ached from the action and she delicately put the pad away. Circling her wrist with a slight frown on her face, she stretched upwards slightly and cracked her back, stretching her muscles as if she was about to do a 800m run. Well, they never knew how long they could be in there for. Good thing that it wasn't very late in the day right now. And with that she took a step towards the Forbidden Forest, hesitantly looking back to see if Jessie was following her.

Jess wasn't so happy about going into the forbidden forest, but would do it anyway. She honestly couldn't understand why the sorting hat had put her into Hufflepuff, she just wasn't a puff in nature, not like the rest were. She smiled sweetly at Nayoung, and then kicked her foot against the ground. She shook her head once, letting her long ponytail flick from side to side. Jessie wondered what was actually going through her mind. Couldn't she have ordered more to begin with?
She watched as her friend stood, and wondered what she was writing. She sighed, before walking after her friend into the creepy forest. "You owe me so much for this" she muttered under her breath. As they walked towards the forest, she found herself worrying more and more. She avoided going into the forest as much as she could. It wasn't a nice place, but apparently her friend loved it.

Ebony skipped further towards the forest, turning around at one point whilst still moving to say to Jess, "Aren't you so excited? We're going to the Forbidden Forest - I love that place!" She squealed as they neared the, for some, dreaded place; thinking of all the fun things they might have the chance to do whilst they were there. Sure, there might be newts or other annoying creatures but they could climb trees (even if she would probably fall from them). Upon seeing her friends mood, she said / joked with her; "Hey, I know you don't exactly love the forest so I guess this does mean I owe you a favour. Just beware though that if you make me cover one of your lessons, one child will not come out all by the end." Moving her head from side to side to crack her neck and stretching after, she prepared to begin their adventure. Letting her hair down and then tying it up again to make sure that the hair band was securely in place, she looked to her right at Jessie before saying to her colleague, signalling that they should go ahead; "Lets, go." Jessie followed her friend, at a somewhat less excitable pace. "Not really" she mumbled at Ebony. "You're strange" she muttered, not really wanting her friend to hear, as she didn't mean it. "What have I gotten myself into" she mumbled under her breath. She walked slowly behind her friend, her fingers stuffed into her pockets. Tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear, she wondered if this... trip would ruin her shoes. They definitely weren't made for traipsing through a forest.
She mused over taking them off, but she was not one to walk around bare foot, especially in the forest. "I would never ever trust you to cover a lesson of mine. I do care for my students, unlike you" she grinned at the potions teacher. She pursed her lips in disdain, but stepped forward into the forest anyway. The instant darkness of the forest made her shiver, and she waited for her friend to go walk ahead of her, before walking on. The forest was not meant to be walked in. Not voluntarily anyway. Ebony giggled as she saw Jessie fretting over whether she should take her shoes off or not. Glancing all around her, she kept alert just in case any creature such as a centaur would approach them and looked for some of the ingredients that they needed to collect. Replying the what Jess said, Ebony replied, "I don't blame you - heck, if I wouldn't even trust me to cover another person lessons. And it's not like I don't care for my students... I just don't mind if they get hurt from cutting themselves or blowing up their cauldrons... Or spill accidentally try their potions out..." An awkward silence followed causing her to look at Jessamine through the corner of her eye. By her body language, she could clearly see that the blonde did not at all like the idea of going into the forest but she found it hard to empathize with her. After all, she loved the forest, it made her comfortable and calm. It was dark - a property of it that she loved. Maybe for some it just wasn't as an ideal place to be in as it was for her...
